Top 5 Art and Design Apps on Android in UAE: Q3 2022

During the third quarter of 2022, the top five art and design applications on the Android platform in the United Arab Emirates exhibited varied performance trends across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance:

Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor saw consistent weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.6K in the last week of September. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a high of around 4K in the last week of June and a low of about 3K in late July. Active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at 52.8K.

GoDaddy Studio: Graphic Design experienced a decline in both weekly downloads and active users over the quarter. Downloads started at 22.8K at the end of June but dropped to just 86 by the end of September. Active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from 24.5K to 4.5K. Revenue, however, showed some resilience, peaking at $238 in the last week of September after a period of lower earnings.

Sketchbook had a notable increase in weekly downloads in July, reaching a peak of 4.8K. However, downloads dropped to 729 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 13.6K in late July and decreasing to 8.4K by the end of the quarter.

Draw Talent showed a steep decline in both downloads and active users. Downloads fell from 12.1K in late June to zero by the end of July. Active users also declined from 29.5K to 13.9K throughout the quarter.

ibis Paint X maintained steady weekly downloads, ranging between 578 and 2.1K. Active users saw a slight dip, from 17.6K at the end of June to 16K by the end of September. Revenue remained relatively low but stable, with a peak of $32 in the last week of June.
